There were five units with nine members at Hartford City for the August campout. Bakers, Mathews, Questels, Beulah Stiles and Ebaughs made the trip to Wildwood Acres Campground for the weekend. Friday evening everyone went to the "Pizza King" in Hartford City. Do not pass up a chance to try their pizza if you are in the area. Evidentially the locals feel that way as well. The place was packed. After our breakfast had settled on Saturday morning, we all went a few miles north to the "Corner" where the antiques, café, train, and an assortment of vehicles are on display. Some of us had some of their excellent ice cream for lunch. Back at the campground we had our meeting. After the meeting the 2011 Indiana State Rally was discussed. Some updating on plans was discussed, ideas were discussed, comments and ideas were made. This will be addressed and updated at the October campout at Rockville. Everyone stayed for Sunday morning breakfast, then began preparing for the trip home. Dave and Judy and Beulah were still there when Geo and I left. Three units from Indiana attended the Kentucky State Rally at Frankfort. Bob and Donna Wolfe and Louis and Joyce Questel and Geo and Jane Ebaugh went down south. We had good weather, friendly hosts, fun activities, good food and time to do exploring and sight-seeing on our own. Thank you Kentucky, we really enjoyed ourselves even tho we came in second in the baseball game! The last campout for 2010 will be at Rockville, Indiana at the Fairgrounds just north of Rockville on U.S.41. We will be attending the Newport Hill Climb which is a short 20 mile drive on good roads from the campground. The dates are Wednesday, Sept.29-Oct.3. Please plan to attend, this is an important campout. There will be a short newsletter between Starve Hollow and the Rockville - Newport campout. Jane Ebaugh, Secretary #95128
